I'd likewise be perfectly happy with no players in the squad given our current situation. Having said that, Manu is probably both the most deserving and least at risk.

Would much rather bin off pointless Magic weekend. The exiles isnt "us" playing a game, its 1 or 3 players, much better than 17 getting smashed all over by that lot.

So do I but not in meaningless games. Preckie's career ended playing second fiddle to Wellens in a pointless rep game. We've so many injuries at the moment, we need to minimise the chances of getting any more

I actually like the exiles concept, and between the clubs there must be a way of minimising the number of players per club.

I don't agree with that, the concept didn't work because the fans didn't get behind it if they had of done and we'd have ended up with origin in oz it would have been worth it.

According this Manu is in the squad. Like mentioned it would be good to see some Hull players play rep games but IMO wouldnt be worth it.

With better players though in the exiles and more meaningful as your up against Aussies,kiwis and the south sea islanders as well....sooner play against them instead of someone from lancashire or yorkshire.

Not really as it wont take off over here....been tried,just cant see it happening.

So in a few seasons if/when the Nrl cap rises and they have to find enough players for another 2 clubs, the standard of overseas player in sl is poor what should we do with the exiles game?

It is isnt it.......Will a roses match giv the "test" players the intensity they need to take on the aussies...i dont think it will and until the RL sort out a better coach and let youth have a go and not bring in other players over them then we may have a chance.

It seemed to work in oz. No coach wants the job, they aren't fussed about a ft role for a few games a year.
