If Martin is back then I'd be tempted to play him at Centre and move Turner out to the Wing for this match only. Would prefer to have a more experienced player facing Brough's kicks if possible.

If Martin isn't back then I would play either Ben Crooks or Tom Lineham.

lyne had to move about 5 metres for it but tom called it n covered bout 10 metres to claim it n dropped it. another high ball was called by lyne but tom jumped an took it. neither nothing major but show a rawness that a team like hudd would look to expose. he only got bout 50 league games under his belt ain't he? defo one for future without doubt but not sure he ready yet. 20s doesn't test you to enough elements. Lyne n crooks got more experience at that level international youth level n reece bit of 1st team. for a 1shot cup game against currently the best team in the country need to be carefull n do what best for team and individual.

Would much prefer to see what Lineham can do, if Sharp is indeed out injured.

Lineham has pace to burn but Huddersfield would ruthlessly expose him if he played next week. He deffo has potential though but he needs to be loaned out to the Championship to gradually face tougher tests because the under 20s is no good for him.

I know that Peter Gentle doesnt like shuffling things around but on this occasion i would be tempted to put Rich Whiting on the right wing. Huddersfield fire a heck of lot of ball to their left and i think that Whiting is best equipped to deal with it.

The same Rich Whiting that got mullered on the right wing several times he played there? I seem to recall Meli getting a hat-trick past him & a fair few other not very good efforts on the wing. I'd rather have him at centre tbh were he would be more effective all round and if we have to blood a young winger or have Lyne in then so be it.

I'd presume RBA meant for the airial bombardment.

In what would have been a bizarre thought before the season got underway, I rate Sharp as our biggest miss. Outstanding this year and little wing cover in the squad.

If that's the case I think we can say bye to the cup for this season. I think if we can get Moa, Sharp & Horne on the pitch we might have a chance. 11 players out is too much to ask against a good side like Huddersfield.

Indeed. I'd like it if we had a page on the website for status of these injuries and expected return dates. Some clubs do this, think we did at one point, but never kept it up to date.

It's all about those who are available performing, not those who are out. Trust in Gentle. We can't afford to feel sorrry for ourselves.

Not sure about Cunningham.I agree it would be good to have an indication of who is due back when, however Gentle does not seemed phased by any of it, seems he shrugs his shoulders and says some-one else will slip in there, what a guy
