I could say the same about Widnes who's only facet is a stadium. Personally I would rather have Cas than Widnes. So that (what I mentioned earlier) alone would keep them up at the next renewal

And I'd agree with you, although their stadium wasn't the main reason they were promoted. Their Chairman played a very clever game with the RFL.


There's no doubt that right now Cas bring more to the sport than Widnes. Although the way Cas seem to be heading that gap is closing.


We have no idea what the relative state of these two clubs is going to be in three years time. Or who might be in a position in the Championship to offer a better option than one or either of them. Or even if anyone will be going down at all. It's therefore a tad early to be making those kinds of decisions IMO.


London offer a presence in the capital and extra cash on the TV deal. Salford currently offer a better team. Widnes we've already dealt with.

Don't see it being an easy game, Millward will deman a response after a poor showing at Hudds so I expect them to improve. We should win the game but they won't roll over we will have to fight for the win.

Cant wait for this game on Sunday as Castleford is my favourite away ground always a great atmosphere, close to the action and the fans are great.

Its about a 15 minute walk from the train station to the ground. Come out of the station and walk towards the Legion pub you will see in front of you and follow that road straight down then take a right towards the town centre and you should see some sign posts for the ground. If not just ask some one around you.

Lynch, Moa, O'Carroll, Bowden should do a good job, although O'Meley is obviously a loss. Although Widnes weren't very good last week, Bowden didn't look out of place.

Im not suprised to see the club willing fans to buy tickets from the KC so much, although some people are unable to get tickets in advance it must be frustrating for them to sell around 1000 pre match and see 3000-4000 FC fans in the stands.

Said also that he was the ONLY injury. Cannot be right, must have meant "new" injury.........

club shop been averaging selling 200 tickets per day for cas
