I wouldn't read anything into the Heremaia and Houghton numbers, Houghton may well come off the bench but he was never going to lose his 9 shirt.
Same with Westy at 13, strong chance is he won't play there.
Numbers mean little tbh.

The RFL's Operational Rules say
Quote All players' jerseys shall be the registered colours and (unless otherwise provided for by
B1:29 and B1.30 below) numbered 1 to 17 and in any case the numbers must be clearly
defined figures to be not less than 23 cm in height and which must be clearly visible and
must stand out from the surrounding background which may necessitate placing the
number on a patch.'" |

AFAIK The lettering and numbers font style are new - see Wigan's shirt too. As it is applied to a fan's shirt rather than a player's shirt (see collar) I assume they'll have a 'patch' on the home shirt. |

I agree about the numbers but you have to wonder why Westerman moved from number 11 to 13. As you say it doesnt make a difference with H&H as Houghton was number 9 last season. |

Totally agree. That stupid white KC panel completely spoils the back of the shirt. It almost looks like an after thought and is exactly where some fans would have their lettering. (not that I ever do)
Does anyone know if they come off easily enough or if the player's shirts perhaps don't have it? |
