As usual, you're a man of impeccable taste Bones! I'm off to the Duchess end of next month to see Electric Six. My next gig will be Sultans of Pings next Thursday in Birmingham. There is a chance that my band could be supporting Peter and the test tube babies soon!

I've never been to the Duchess but its supposedly next door to the Fibbers club to which I have been . Apparently it's a little bigger than fibbers by all accounts.

going to the manics o2 show in december. very excited about this as they are playing all 38 of their singles in one gig. also got tickets for alter bridge in manchester, kasabian in nottingham and walter trout in holmfirth which i'm very much looking forward to

also tempted to see adam ant for a laugh

listening wise, i was surprised at how good the new blink 182 album is, and also had a little listen to the new evanesence record

to broaden it out a bit how do you listen to your music nowadays? - cd, vinyl, radio, mp3, spotify, downloading? i'm a spotify premium account holder and hardly buy any music now, though i occasionally get some from the amazon store. no physical purchases anymore which i admit is a bit of a shame but i havent the room any more for loads of cds, records etc, i've enough old stuff as it is

Opposite for me; never been to Fibbers, get email/twitter updates from them as well as Duchess.
Duchess is about 100yards away, towards the centre.

Have to say I'm looking forward to see the Crue too, will remind me of my youth too lol and the hoilday to Florida when I went on the Rip Ride Rockit Coaster and chose 'Kick Start my Heart' and my tune of choice for the ride, excellent choice it was too

Going to see Stone Roses in Manchester next year, cannot wait, didn't get to see them first time round.

Also going to Shed 7 in Manchester in December, seen them many times before and they never dissapoint, they are fantastic live and I recomend anybody to go and see them.

First post in ages, off to see My Morning Jacket on Saturday with Digger at the O2 in Leeds. Other than that not got any other tickets lined up.

tbf I've seen Heart before. Bit surprised Crue have the same set time as Def Lep, gonna be good though. Pity they don't use the in the round stage these days.

Going Airborn Toxic Event on Friday.Was at Cockpit last week to see Sound Of Guns.If you haven,t heard of them check them out. Great band.Seen them about 5 times now and keep getting better.

I've never been to the Cockpit in Leeds, what's it like?

While we're on about venues, I've just bought tickets to see Paul Liddell (Guitarist/singer/songwriter) on the 19th of November at Toll Gavel Church in Beverley. He's from Sunderland and has a few albums under his belt, a bit of easy listening stuff before moving on to Alter Bridge etc

Got tickets for the Stone Roses next year, although I think I'll prob be away at sea. Sods law really.

Don't bloody say Duchess is better, I do the bookings for Fibbers lol. The best band around at the minute in my opinion is Dry the River, they wont ever achieve stardom but will become of the most respected bands around. They will achieve a similar level to Beruit I think. Pulled Apart By Horses are amazing live. I will always love Little Comets, worked with them since forever and I think they are awesome. Vintage Trouble were incredible at Fibbers before, I still have some tickets left for Lincoln show if anybody wants any, PM me. Really looking forward to Friendly Fires in Leeds after the 4 Nations final (not at the same venue) and trying to get tickets for Orbital's tour next year.

Got 2 spare tickets for arctic monkeys on sat at castle arena 29:50 each. I will throw in free parking on my drive 5 mins away!

I enjoyed the BBC's Nirvana night last night especially the Paramount gig .
