Now Gleeson, absolutely crazy decision by the club, it shows the complete desperation of Agar the clown to ask the board to push this deal through, he was overweight, unfit and has serious personal problems, ridiculous decision, but also shows ineptitude of the previous board in allowing this deal to happen.

It would not surprise me if Gleeson has no clause in his contract and we are stuck with him on full pay to the end of his contract, which Union Rule would have sactioned.

Signing Long was a gamble worth taking at the time, but it was foolish to not have back up for his inevitable injuries. That lack of a plan B cost us dearly in 2010. If Wakey's problems hadn't made Obst available we would have been in an even bigger mess this year.

Yep I don't blame Long at all, bet he couldn't believe his luck. I have a great respect for him as one of SL's best players of the 00s, but of his time at FC the less said the better and I won't be pretending otherwise.
