are you sure, and if not, was that known when the insurance was taken out, or is it insurance companies being slimy little 'ckers?

A massive thanks for keeping it up there Paul and a massive thankyou to those who donated... The club is slowly re-building itself back up, the games are still going on and have secured a massive game on the 2nd July, Great Britain under 19s....... Building work is still on going so if anybody fancies a spot of painting or cleaning pop down, plus the PayPal Donation link is still up and running. The club has also asked me to mention our tackle bag/Sheilds and post pad problem, were still without any of those and if anybody knows were can get hold of any, preferably for nothing throw a few ideas my way....thanks again from Me and Haworth as a club, kind regards Marc.

Just to keep all the people who are bothered updated...
The club has come on leaps and bounds since the fire, the function room has had the most attention and its looks fantastic, the Beardshaws plus some volunteers have worked day and night to get the place up and running.
Id like to thank the people who helped and donated things.
The teams have carried on training and tried to act like nothings happened, which to give them credit has been fantastic even though Balls, pads and sheilds are pretty much non existant but were cracking on.
Donations of any kind are still welcomed, balls, pads, gym equipment, paint, even old kits to train in are all welcomed.

On the 31st July there holding a Rugby league 9's adult competition, should be fun and there expecting alot of people down.

Will be a good standard of rugby on show with a lot of the top local amateur clubs taking part as well as a Scottish team coming down.

Haworth still need some of this year's school leavers for their new u17s as well as players from all other age groups including adults.

The Under 17's have been training with us and some of them are top quality...

I was also asked to play in the 9's but i'm at a wedding all day the day before and me hungover playing rugby is not a good combo

I played for east hull and yorkshire. I'm 22 like now aint played really for some time after injuring my knee back in 2007. I had a stint at open age a few months back with Sutton trust.

This thing on 31st July, is it open to anyone? Might back myself and have a play

I would be a prop/second row though, use to play at loose, but i've put a little weight on since then (about 4 stone) lol

All of them mate, the coach hasn't set anyone any positions yet.
