Does seem odd. If it's and RFL decision then you'd have to say it's a bit of a missed opportunity. Maybe the BBC weren't up for it for some reason.

The RFL are spending the additional time applying some special HKA dispensation to the format of the quarter final draw at Neil "please-sir-can-I-have-some-more" Grudehull's request.

They've not quite finalised it yet but it will all be sorted for Monday 6pm.

To quote Claire Balding "the draw for the quarter finals will happen tomorrow on Look North some time after 6.30pm", makes it sound like they're just trying to fit it in somewhere instead of being a major thing.

I'd rather has Cas then the dobbins, nobody wants Wire away that's for sure.

4th round draw on Five Live, 5th round draw on national TV after the 4th round tie and the quarter final draw on regional TV.

Agree....although would like Cas to ram it up them...they arent a good team at all and IMO Chase is over-rated.

Shows the strength of whats left that I would take Leeds then Cas at home. Then Rovers (rather than a derby banana skin).

Unfortunately we are due a Super League team away. The only time we've had such a draw since we won the Cup in 2005 was Bradford away, both in 2006 (4th round) and 2008 (quarter finals).
