Maybe rovers were winning 18/6 with 10 mins to go so popped a drop over just as a safeguard, then hull score in dying seconds but fail the conversion, Just a thought

And here was me thinking they'd do it just to wind us up!

Or maybe rovers winning 12/10 with 5 mins left and go for a drop just to ensure a penalty for hull wont be enough. The resulting short restart is knocked on by hull, then picked up by a rovers player who then procedes to run unchallenged to score under the sticks, willie mason gets the conversion to make it 19/10 in rovers favour, full time hooter sounds. just a thought

To starve us of the ball? To keep possession to conserve energy and also get a breather? Maybe on the stroke of half time whilst the game's still tight? Or they could knock one over to seal it then we give a penalty away as well. Why would the drop goal have to be the last score?

18-14 to us (it always seems to be 18-14 lately).

Going for a win for us based on nothing except an illogical view that having lost the last 2 we're due a win. Have seen too many derbies down the years where the result has flown in the face of all pre match predictions, especially with two sides as erratic as these at the moment.

It's a win or bust derby for both sides. Reckon whoever loses is going to face an uphill battle to even make the 8, especially us with our fixture list post Good Friday.
