He contradicted himself a few times; claiming not having the cash to buy Hull (for what would be a trivial fee in comparison to the purchase of City) and yet wanting to spend £60M on a new complex out West. And then saying if we merged with Rovers (Gateshull Kingston Rovers ???????) then he'd splash the cash on signing the best Aussies and Kiwis ? I think what he wants to do is get the council to move Hull Fair and let him develop the land. No doubt he'd like the KC but why buy it when you have the use of it. He's spent £41m to date apparently and he supposedly had a fortune of £100m. He could easily get through the rest of that if he/Hull City get it wrong. Probably misguided and naive but it's his money and you can understand why he might want an asset other than a bunch of professional footballers in return. From what I know of him he's no Lloyd.

In return for what ? He knew that Hull City had no assets when he bought it - nothing has changed since as far as I know. It's a bit rich coming along afterwards and saying "look - City has no assets how do you expect me to do anything ?".
