| Quote ="old_faithful"Kidwell? Not sure about that one. A good young coach, took Souths U20's to a grand final, but I would think he needs a couple of years at least, under Bellamy before I would consider him to be a head coach.
The board should be going after Steve Folkes. A seasoned coach with a grand final win under his belt. Would bring in a completely new work ethic to the squad, and a change of attitude we so desperately need. He wants to return to a head coaching position sooner rather than later.'"
There are reasons why Foulkes is now a conditioner - his ideas had run their course at the Bulldogs - would not want a dinasour like him at my club
Noble is in the same boat - a bit outdated, how much of the improvement at the Crusaders was down to Harris? who allegedly took most of the training sessions.

By the end of his Doggies reign, things had become stale, but the guy took them on one hell of a run during his tenture there. He wasn't helped by the Doggies well documented off field troubles and their Salary cap breach in 02. To take them back from the bottom of the ladder, to a semi final in 03 and premiership winners in 04 speaks volumes about his integrity as a coach. His win record as Canterbury coach is also very good, considering he was there for a decade.
I'd hardly call him a dinasour, and he's got more coaching ability in his little finger than the likes of Agar and co. Name me anyone who has achieved what Steve Folkes has in his time as a head coach that we could realistically target...

| Added Brian Noble to facebook and sent him this message:
A bit random, but send your CV in to Hull F.C please.
I'm a big hull fan and I and many of us have had enough! Richard Agar is a nice guy, but he's a number 2, he's utter clueless!
We need someone like you Brian too come in and give the team a good kick up the ass, we have enough quality to challenge, we have a good back line, fast, although we could do with another to balance the books, and our pack is the biggest in superleague!
I remember you from a good few years back, I played for East Hull, and you came to embassy pub, with Pryce, M Withers and Lesley and a few of the others, you gave me my trophie.
Grown up since now like, 22, but did my knee in so cannot play anymore.
Send your CV in too Hull, I have a massive petition on the go to get agar out and i'll be sending it to the Hull F.C board, could force them into making a change.
Cheers brian
(Can only hope, lmfao) fat chance of it happening.

| Did you ever visit the Wigan forum between '07 and '09? Noble was about as popular then as Agar is now - and 2010 showed just how much that same squad was underperforming.

| Now then Guys & Gals
Just wanted to come on this bloody forum for the first time, not a regular visitor to this site but just got to an all time low last night watching the club that I have supported from being a three year old boy standing on an old milk create with my mum and dad at boulevard.
firstly would just bring to the attention of all Hull fans an incident in the game that identifies the technical fraeilties of the man who is coaching one of the top supported clubs in the league with the financial capacity to compete with the very best on a week to week basis.
before the season started it was reported that Sam Moa had trimmed down by so many kilo's to allow him to have more game time for longer spells, on 22 minutes he was introduced into the game to spell Mark o Mealy and at this part of the game Hull were 10-6 down for the further 8-10 minutes Hull were in the game and on the line at around 31 minutes when a offside decision from senior gave Hull a great opportunity to get level or possibly go into the lead when Sam Moa burst onto the Ball on the second tackle to only spill it over the line.
Instantly the SKY cameras went to the team coach and his reaction to this was Effff offff "Sammy" then in the next breath "get him off", he remained on the pitch for a further three minutes and on 34 minutes sure enough off Moa went and On come O mealy with 6 to go to the half, in this period from 34 to 40 minutes Hull went from 10-6 down to 20-6 down, which inevitably was the game in my opinion.
I could go in to even greater detail about more technical issues about the game but I think it would be good for all you Hull fans that recorded this on sky to look at this incident and say to yourself this is the difference between a good decision making coach and a poor decision making coach?????
on reflection of all of this some further pointers Danny tickle spilt 2 balls in the same manner during the game and was not spelled, so put yourself in Sam Moas shoes how would you feel seeing your coach criticise one player and react the remove you from the playing fireld and then sat in the dug out watching his team mates do exactly the same and not be criticised, hmmmmm i wonder...
Anyways I have had my rant and will never criticise the badge as that is bigger than any individual in the club either on the board or on the field but there has to be someone sat in the board that feels the same passion as what some of our fans do "hence Neil Hudgell,Phil Lowe rovers through and through"
food for though eahhhhhh....... so i beg you all to let your feelings known as it's us guys that can make changes.
FC till I die....

| Well I wouldn't have thought he would get a gig in the NRL as a head coach any time soon, but he has said recently that he wants to get back into a head coaching position.
I'm interested to know why you don't think he would do a decent job?
I reckon he is in the top bracket of coaches available at this time.

at this moment, we need an experienced head coach,
who can drastically change attitudes, and implement a playing structure.
The last thing we need,is another unproven coach,
who maybe is technically brilliant, but the unknown factor is man-management.
Cant see any current NRL experienced coaches, ooc soon,
so Anderson,Murray or Folkes for me.
