There isnt the same level of interest here in the Yorkshire v Lancashire or England v France kind of games bit i agree that the England v Select overseas players brings a higher level of interest. If England made a statement that all players for the national side had to be available for it otherwise they wont be selected in the end of season test series it may make players more interested. A meaningless friendly will just lead to clubs faking injuries and asking players to drop out. |

Absolutely right Dave, The England players should be told it is a selection match , if your not available then your not in the running for selection otherwise it would be cheating the fans too |

thats how it should be paul, however we all know the reality is its unlikely to turn out that way isnt it, the usual big guns players will all get a twisted sock the day before or similar |

Justin Morgan came up with the suggestion on wednesday that no one Super League club can supply more than 5 players to the match. This i am guessing is to reduce the chances of clubs pulling their players out of the match.
I would imagine that he is basing this suggestion on some basis of knowledge given that i believe he has been approached to lead the overseas team.

You can restrict the overseas side to one player from each side but not the england team.
I'd let the highest finishing coach in sl coach them, so this season Maguire. |

Justine would, with Rovers having about 10 aussies in their side he's probably nervous that they all get picked and injured!!   |
