I must admit I did email Jimmy Rule just because the 'rumour' was getting every were, deep down I knew it would never happen but we all know it is Hull FC and you never know. But what I would like say is well done Jimmy and well done Hull for coming out and nipping it in the bud, I can go buy my pass now knowing I don't have to watch that fat Judas next season playing for us! rule as only come out into the papers because cooke as refused a 1 year deal with hull for a 2 year deal at halifax on more money with a 3rd year option.

If Rule says Cooke was not offered a contract by Hull then I will take his word over Cooke's any day.

If Cooke has been offered this alleged deal by Halifax then no doubt we can expect it to be announced imminently? I can't imagine he's going to get any better offer. Or any other offer for that matter.

I've heard that Cooke has signed for Hull. Probably worthy of the rumour thread.

I wouldn't have even given the useless the satisfaction of making a statement about it and any Hull fan who got in touch with the club about it needs to get a life

but, as Rule has stated on many occasions in the past, Cooke will never be a Hull player again during his reign. Why should he have to waste time repeating himself?

A last plea, maybe, to the hordes of dimwits who have made speculation about Crooke joining Hull a personal crusade ? Maybe he just feels genuinely sorry for people wasting their lives even thinking it could happen. He probably wonders how people can be so thick and stupid that despite him saying on numerous official occasions that the Crooke will never join Hull in his tenure people still believe he could.

I think it's his last humanitarian attempt to free up these numbskulls from their life obsession so that they can use the subsequent flood of free time at their disposal to find, grasp hold of, and cling on to a life.

I think in the end it was the amount of fools that had said they were not getting season passes because he was 'nailed on to sign', that probably prompted what was quite an unprecedented announcement. Whatever they say it only takes two pages on here to have the story completely reversed. The thing is some folks just don't want to hear things sometimes so they make it up!
