He took a risk and it has paid off for him, we aren't too far off Warrington, they are more ambitious than us, made a move for the best coach in SL IMO, and spent some money on transfers (which I believe we are trying to do for next season).

Very good player Carvell, would have more caps if it wasn't for injuries he got at Hull, got more luck at Warrington, some player need that.

Just imagine if he was still at Hull instead of Cusack.

Have to disagree there to be honest mate. IMO Hull are the 3rd biggest in SL (behind Leeds & Wigan - nothing wrong in that). Hull still average at least 2000 more on each home game over the season, + when you weigh up away following, merchandise sales etc I'd bet Hull are still quite a bit ahead of Wire, and always will be I imagine. That's not a dig at Wire, just my honest opinion.

Hello guys,this is a serious question deserving a considered answer,had it not been for a rugby league merger circa 1999 ish and a council built stadium circa 2002 ie dramatic turn around for a run of the mill clubs fortune(which is what my club is btw) hypothetically where would you be,my guess less arrogant and envious of wire

I honestly believe things would've worked out for Hull Fc; whether that's in a lower division or not. Your club did it with less fans and history shows that both clubs have 'core' fans that have remained loyal.

There's NO arrogance from me, I appreciate everything the club has achieved whilst still under-achieving.

Come back when you have some of your facts right despite being really successful it will be while before Warrington have bigger gates than us or as manys season ticket holders or even as successful a merchadising operation which is on target to turn over £1m this season, and regularly making a profit those are the sort of things that define big clubs. Success is a completely different thing! What a poor response, cannot even get your facts right when we can actulaly decypher what you are trying to say.

As for the merger we were lucky the timing of our demise was just right but no one at Caravan Park would surely not have not taken the opportunity if it were offered to them, that smacks a bit of envy to me. As for the Stadium well Rovers are probabaly a run of the mill club as you put it because they have not taken their opportunities and when offered a place at the KC the Cities community Stadium they refused to join the party. Who knows if they had accepted with both clubs playing there the synergies would have dictataed that the Rovers could have been getting at least 12,000 gates on a regular basis.

We have just taken our business opportunities it does not mean we are a successful club in fact far from it but as far as consolidating and growing our business and the 'size' of our club it was a great move.

yeah was pretty shocked at that was sat on the half way line opposite the dugouts looked over and it was crazy feel very sorry for the families who were in amongst it, saying that, was it actually wire fans that started it because although it was in the wire end there was a few mixed shirts on that edge.

Spot on! some clubs, Like the Wire, Quins Huddersfiled and possibly Rovers are totally dependant on Sugar Daddies, because their actual businesses don't stack up! its great when you have them it when they leave or their company's go bust that you have a problem.

But as far as success is concerned you have to admire Warrington because Moran has actually bought players out of their contracts to get the right players in, no one is safe at a club when he comes calling! that shows great enterprise and they deserve their success IMHO.

Warrington want success, Hull are happy to exist, this was proved by giving Agar a two year deal when we did, Carvell joined the bigger club without a doubt.

why anyone would want to slag there own club off amazes me!!..its taken a while for warrington to get where they are.who knows maybe we could be up there with them in a couple of seasons..a little faith goes a long way...
