I've also watched the game for the best part of 50 years. I've seen what real backs are, not 2nd rows who can't make the weight.

This club, from when Hall was first blamed for a defeat at London Broncos (for failing to kick goals), seem to have systemically tried to undermine his confidence.

Carn't the same be said of Tansey though ? Could be great one minute and totally inept the next.

It does seem hard for people to grasp that he may actually not progress.

He's 24? Must of had nearly 60-70 games?

Indeed he did well. That is what is so frustrating about him - there is some talent there its not as though he's a total no hoper. However the decision has been made to get rid and on the balance of probabilities you can't argue with it.

Deary me. Yes, you're right. Everyone's out to get Craig Hall. It's nothing to do with his own inadequacies, the club just decided, for no good reason, to try and turn a brilliant player into a below average one. You might not have touched the cider for a while, but it's clearly left its mark.

Fans crucified Hall , Tony for their mistakes but Tansey's blunders seen to go under the radar.

Don't think that's true. A fair few on here have said how dodgy Tansey can be. I think he's spared a little bit because of his flashes of brilliance (which occur more frequently than Hall's). I don't think he'll be a fullback in the long term - he's not sound enough defensively. I reckon we could possibly solve two problems at once by moving him into the halves.

We'll see.

We certainly will. FWIW, I don't think he's e. But he's not a player who should be at a SL club with aspirations of actually winning anything. He'd be a very good player at Championship level and might go ok for a club at the bottom end of SL.

How long does he have to not come back and bite us for before you'll admit you were wrong? One season? Two?

May i butt in here without sounding like i am up for an argument which i am not and say that compared to my playing CV your still at under 11s standard and i also think personally that to try to belittle someone by giving it the large one with abuse and agression is in the same realms of under 11s as well ..
Also from a former professionals point of view i can only say that CH is not anywhere near the same quality of JT or are FC just Letting craig go because they dont like his deodrant...

craig hall was decent tonight ,but how many times ive thought get rid when hes been playing ,i think the club have maybe made the right chioce ,tbh its probs a good move for craig as well he needs a fresh coach and a new enviroment he probs will be a lot better ,theres a great player under there somwhere but agar as not been able to find him yet ,injuries and pressure have took its toll on the lad as well ,well played tonight and good luck maybe will wear the black and white again in the future who knows
