Would be mad to go with Hall, as he is already on his way out and has never done well at FB. With Horne & Whiting out it makes the most sense to bring in the U20's FB. As for Wire not being an ideal place to blood a youngster, maybe not but when is the time?
Saints have no problem bringing in their youngsters to cover positions and it hasn't done them any harm. If he has a mare, he will pick himself up and carry on if he is anything like his brother.

Jack Briscoe isn't ready from what I've seen. Even in the U20's he's looked suspect as the last line of defence and against the kicking onslaught that's coming from Briers, Myler and Monoghan he'll struggle. I recognise the lack of options but for Jack's sake I hope he's not selected. He's played plenty of Wing - think he'd be better getting a quick taste of SL there before he assumes his role at FB.

Briers would kick young Jack to death, that said, can't come up with an option that has no draw backs......or fullbacks. Can't imagine he'll go for Hall after Wigan. Berrigan probably has the ability to do well there but is in the halves so i guess it should be one of the Briscoe's........Sean!!!!!!

I would hazard a guess that a few people that have put briscoe at fb haven't seen him play and are just agreeing with people or that it's tom brother and expect him to be ready like he was , for me jack isn't ready at all I know were really short at fb but would be a massive gamble that might do more harm than good

I don't understand where the calls for Jack come from, there has been no mention of him making the squads this season or him ripping it up in the reserves.

Like it or not the is no option other than bringing Hall into the side and probably play him at fullback, either him or Turner. As has already been said Berro could defend at fullback which would help.
