. Maybe the reason they haven't shown an interest is because either their quota's are full or they couldn't accomodate him under their salary cap. Tickle hasn't even played for GB (which equates to about an Aussie 5th or 6th team) whereas Mason was one of the best forwards in the Aussie team a couple of years back.

He might not be playing at his best at the moment, but that level would still be well above the majority of forwards in our Super League. Remember O Meley was basically written off in Australia and was released by the BOTTOM side in the comp. After watching him play this year for you lot I'd say he's easy in the top 5 props in SL.

But I will add that when discussing players totally out of form then WM is clearly at the top of that list , anyone who watches the NRL will know he is still very useful but way past his form of 2 years ago and a similar player in his style now to Cussack hence his cut price availability, someone in Oz will snap him up for the merchandising and press Kudos it would bring them but he will offer little more than a good squad player to the playing side of things.

Anyway we have much bigger fish to fry from Australia/ NZ that WM when our OOC players go home at the end of next season!!

If that's the case, make sure those potential players never get the chance to speak or see Richard Agar until after they've signed!

Indeed, and Tickle is better VALUE FOR MONEY than Mason.

Its not just about accumulating the best individual players. Its a team game. One for one Mason may be (or may once have been) a better player than Tickle but that doesn't mean he would bring more to our team than Tickle does.
