well in 08 and 09 the only 7 games hemissed were due to Visa issues

He's a proven SL try scoring winger Karl, were not asking him to play prop. Can't understand people not wanting exactly what he provides, he's a finisher of the highest order. We seem to like our wingers to just chase kicks with a bit of enthusiasm!!

I've checked them and he has averaged 20.8 games a season, better than I thought to be honest, but I'll guarantee his record wouldn't be anywhere near that if he signed for us.

IMO he's a better option than Calderwood (who is injury prone) and Aaron Murphy (who is he?) and Karl Pryce (half d wind bag).

If we sign him for 2 years he'd be nearly 34 when his contract is up. How many top class 34 year old wingers can you remember?

Now that's certainly an injury prone winger, and one I didn't particularly rate before he became so anyway. Would stay well away from him, as I would Meli TBH. Think both would be questionable uses of our salary cap.

Just because Meli is the apparently the 'best available' doesn't mean he would be a good signing, would rather play Lyne then have another short term option, again.

Lyne clearly has promise and will get opportunities I'm sure but you need more than just 2 wingers especially as one of them has only played the 1 top flight game.

I agree with what your saying, but we've had to make do with these types of signings because no one was available for to long, besides I'd rather have Will Sharp from Quins, younger, British, a lot of potential.

Hard to answer that. Most signings that are made tend to be contracted so what's available is unknown. In terms of those that are OCC, I'm with you - Meli seems the best option.

He's out of contract and has been linked with Bradford and Huddersfield.

Well then i have to agree with you i hope the club have considered him and taken a look if they haven't they are foolish

If so he would be a good signing and as you say could have a longer term future at Hull.
