Yeamo to 2nd row? Defensively centre is one of the hardest places positionally to get right.

With regard to Yeamo I think he is just doing enough. He is one of our (former) international players and for me he doesn't get in the game enough often enough. How often have we come away from the game recently talking about an outstanding Yeamo performance ? Don't get me wrong his distribution has improved no doubt about it but I want to see more from him in attack. Some of the footwork and lines Turner put on last night were eye catching and he has caused the opposition problems recently. Hopefully Yeamo will hit his top form at the business end of the season - not there yet in my view.

60 points to 6. Got to say, it was one of the weakest French teams I've seen. Widdup looked a class act as did Tomkins, but it's hard to rate their performance, against what I'd call a championship standard side. Briscoe took his try well and had solid game, as did most of the English lads.

Is it a sad reflection on how poor a standard the SL is, that a lad playing in reserve grade in Oz, can come in and look a world beater ? Though I also have to say would Tansey, S Briscoe etc have performed any better ? We'll no doubt see how good\bad he is when we play Australia and New Zealand.

He has covered for Slater in a couple of game this season and hasn't looked out of place for the Storm. Briscoe's form hasn't been great this season like his club side and Tansey needs to produce that performance from Friday more regular to even be considered for International duty.
I think this fixture is in danger of been lost to the game , The French just don't seem to be improving at all .
