Think we'll part company with Galea at the end of the year, he's a great player and we miss him when he's not playing, which unfortunately he is a fair bit, but age will start catching up with him and best to get rid sooner rather than when its too late.

I'd be shocked if he goes to you lot for a lot of the reasons above, suppose he does give utility as he can cover 2nd row, 13 and 6 but think you have utility in abundance. If you did sign him then injures wuld not be down to bad luck, just inevitable.

Saying that, if we did lose Fitz and wanted a 13 Galea is a pretty good option imo. I'd rather use Washy to keep a quota place free though.

Galea was a good player, he is past it now and signing him would be a step backward. So I guess we have signed him on a 2/3 year team to advance the [iteam mediocrity[/i into the 2011/12.

Just cant see this happening, id rather keep fitz for one more year, if he goes then we need someone younger, id defo prefer westerman to ben galea.

He has moved to centre for the 20s and still stands out at that level despite the massive jump in physical size. Has got a really good body shape to be a atheltic backrower who can slot in at centre in the Gilmour mould. On the weekend Pat Smith was sensational for the 20s and would say it was the best game i've seen him have.

Shame for us as he has looked great this season but if he wants away and the rumour is true then we move on.

It wont happen for two reasons, one of them the quota and the other he is the complete opposite to the type of player Agar likes, he is naturally talented and a little bit different, we have plenty of back rowers but if he could find the form he showed last year would give us something we have lacked, apart from the obvious loss of Cooke I also think we struggle out wide becuase we dont have a player in the back row with the ability to link out wide, someone similar to Chris Chester who played a big part when Yeaman and Raynor were most effective a few years ago, and if Galea was off qouta and maybe a couple of years younger could be a similar player.

Which justs points out how lacking in half backs we are.

If we potentially lose Tickle and Fitzy then we are going to be short in the goal kicking department. We might need to sign someone who can kick goal. Longy and Hall are not in their league
