If Long out, I reckon Agar will go with Horne & Turner. Tansey still gets involved even from f/back so it may be a good solution. If we have Washy on the bench to cover Houghton he can always step into the halfs if we need him.

I don't think a horne/turner partnership will be as effective as tansey/horne.

Few weeks ago i would have said Tansey to 7, but his wide running is giving us another dimension out there.

Let him carry on doing that but popping up in the middle when needed like he has been.

I agree mate, Tansey can go to first receiver whenever he wants but is much more dangerous playing the free role and if Horne is back on the middle then that will give us more threat.

Doesnt scoring 30 points yesterday say that our attack wasnt the issue? Thought our halves did ok.

I do think when Fitz plays it has a positive effect on all the team, especially in defense so I think we will see a marked improvement in that area this week.

Cant count the number of times that we wafted arms due to Leeds footwork. Could the pitch have been down to us been poorly lined up for good contact in the tackle?

Thought we had a poor first 20 minutes in each half, agree defence was awful at times with the amount of missed/falling off in the tackle which was just sloppy. Felt we gave Leeds far too much field position by waiting for them after the play of the ball instead of advancing to meet them.

Also think Hall should have been given the kicking duties after Rich missed the 2nd one from touchline as Hall always seemed to slot them over for fun when kicking before as proved with the last kick of the game.

Frustrating game really as we didnt play well only really in fits and starts and I thought we could and should have beaten them if I'm honest.

Agar summed it up nicely by saying we missed too many 1 on 1 tackles and we lacked defensive intensity.

For me there was one difference between the side and that was the speed of the ptb. They were constantly playing the ball much quicker than us and as a result they were able to use their pace to find gaps or offload the ball through us not being able to control the coillision.

They were quicker than us in everything they did.

But when we try to slow teams down we get penalised. What do we do?
