was impressed with Hall last night, he may not be the strongest in the team, but he showed some pace and took his try well

I think only a handful of centres in SL could have scored it. people are underestimating how well Hall took the try

They could score a home try as far as I am concerned as long as we get those precious 2 points..

It seems some are overestimating how well he took it, too. It was undoubtedly a good try, but with the space Hall had to work in, anyone with a decent amount of pace would have either scored themselves, or put the winger away.

I dont mean if Hall had passed to Briscoe i mean if Briscoe was in the position Hall was in he would have left the opposition for dead as well.

BTW i have nothing against Hall i was just replying to JTP who said that no other player could have scored that.

Was a great try to watch....could see Hall wander round back of scrum then start jogging, gaining pace all the time till he got the ball and went hell for leather...love to see that sort of play....hope to see a lot more of them.

Disagree. Watching the highlights, Briscoe matched Hall for pace throughout that try. If he'd lacked the acceleration, he wouldn't have been available to Hall to use as a foil. And once Hall threw the dummy, was in a position to receive a pass if required, right upto Hall touching down.

Agree with that, and Briscoe almost caught inglis in the 4 nations after Inglis broke through despite having to turn around.

Not sure Tansey would've scored it though...

I'm not sure he would can't remeber seeing him at full speed, the discussion JTP and i were having was regards to Centres at the club who could have scored that try.
