I think 2 year deals are best for O/S signings, especially those towards the latter end of their careers, so long as any effort to extend is made early enough in the second year, too many SL sides have ended up stuck with expensive quota players seeing out their final year by just plodding along.

we have all got caught up with the wrong crowd at some point in our lives however most of us grow out of them in our teens, however Thacks just never grew up did he!!
Shame because when he was at the KC first time he was in awesome form and deserved his GB call up
