Can I just ask the people who are putting Rovers so down their prediction table.......................Why ?


Is it wishful thinking, Pure Banter or why do they suddenly think Rovers will not be able to compete ?

Have you seen the predictions on the VT?.Most of them have wrote us off big time.I won't be getting any tips from that lot.

Both Hull teams should make the 8 comfortably.

Leeds will be the team to beat yet again this year but I dont think Saints are as strong as they have been for the last 5 years or so. I'm really looking forward to this season as the difference between all the teams is even smaller than ever IMO. Not saying the overall quality is better but teams are closer to each other which should make for some exciting games.

Im going to get shot down here big style but realistically we have strengthened our team and got rid of a lot of dead wood from last season but even so I still cant see us finishing near the top three like some are predicting on here. I personally think we will make the play offs but only around 6 or 7 i'm afraid.
We are now playing catch up with better teams than us from last season who have kept the main body of their squad, strengthened in some parts making them even better.

I cant see areas where Rovers have definitely strengthened for next season but they still have the core of what was last year a better side than ours !

FC have unfortunately fallen to a very poor standard where last season every club in the league thought they could get 2 points from us without having to really put their backs out. I believe we have strengthened and will continue to do so but it may take a few years or so to get back up there.

With the current set up we'll struggle to make the 8 IMO. Plenty of good team out there who out think us every week. Hope I'm wrong

If recent seasons are anything to go by the only thing that I would safely predict is that Leeds and Saints (although even they have a question mark over their heads) will be there or there abouts and the rest is a lottery. No doubt there will be over achievers and under achievers, just hope we don’t fall into the latter, again.

Injuries and the home office helped put the grease on the climbing rope for the last two seasons Roofs.......You know that. Next season I almost pity the poor buggers that are gonna be running at O'Meley and Co next season.......Best call the meat wagon !!!!!!!

With the players we already had and the new players if agar can play them why carn't we get to top even if we get Injuries we still have better cover than we had last season.Just need a bit of look from the ref. Most players are playing for there places what makes a big diffrant to how they play. Rovers over achievers last season with the team there got and the team is weaker this season so don't think they will get in the playoffs

Cheeky Charlie / Red Sovine will change names 20 times
Rommel will come on and mention Radford at least once,
The Tongan Mafia will be the equivelant of the Tasmanian Devil.
Agar will get slaughtered by the fans after 3 matches.
Hull will finish 5th.

FC and KR will scrape in to the playoff's, but will both get to the semi's. can't see any better than that, for me FC's back line aint good enough and KR wont catch teams cold like they did at the start of last season.

It costs me a bloody fortune every time we get to a final. Thanks to our crappy 2009 season, I can afford to go to New Orleans for Christmas.

What, because we haven't brought in any Crockers, or Willie Mason's that have been touted. Cameron Smith and Lockyer too. Give it a rest mate. We can easily recreate last seasons finish and even better it. Just cos our neighbours have bought a couple of "big name" players, doesn't mean we have to try and trump them. They have, as they're fans will admit, had 2 very poor years for them. They've had to bring in the players.

6th, 7th or 8th would be my prediction for Hull, but there is so little between most of the teams that it is difficult to say.

Seems fair given our last 2 seasons and lack of experience/cover in the backs. Very pleased with our pack, mind, and if Long stays fit and in form think we could do better.

I'm very happy for people to write us off. I hope the media do the same when their predictions are made prior to the season.
