cant argue with that..he was shizer......didnt he turn out for the red n whites aswell after he had "retired" about 3 times....

Alan Hunte simply becuase of his status at the time and his performances for Hull is the first that springs to mind. Berrigan would also deserve a mention in my opinion, although circumstances have been against him he was bigged up as one of our biggest ever imports (rightly so) but not quite fully delivered yet what he is capable of.

The likes of Hutch Maiva dont count in my opinion, he was a 30 year old who came over having never played first grade rugby consistantly, plus I actually dont think he was that bad a player, when he ran the ball hard he could cause problems, he was shown the door becuase he was lazy, unfit, and was just generally caused problems within the club.

Warren Jowitt is one that always baffles me when mentioned in such threads, whenever he managed to get on the field he was a very good forward in my opinion, just a shame about his injury problems.

alex wilkinson was appaulling...not over-rated but how the hell he got an extra year when his contract ran out was as baffling as releasing briscoe in his prime........................SHOCKING....

Craig Greenhill, people used to rave about him like he was an aussie international...when in reality he was just an average prop who had the odd fight to excite the crowd

i liked knuckles.....he was a good forward in a good team at the time.....that team could and should have doen miles better in my opinion...but injuries curtailed a good season
