As some may remember on here i posted last pre season about the lack of games at the KC, prctice for new players. Some on here felt it was fine, throw new players straight into SL at the KC, sight lines and wind conditions are the same at Ionions by all accounts!!!

Lets just look at our home form last season. I think we need to train on the KC more and have 2 pre season games. I'm sure Long wants some time on there to get his kicking game sorted.

All S/L clubs have to play NL clubs away in pre-season and they keep the reciepts....as for home friendly matches...couldnt give a monkeys about them....dont go them just the away ones as better day out.

We accept the fact that the KC is largely unavailable other than for matches and occasional training sessions, well, some of us do.

In general i dont think it really matters either. Its nice to have a hit up pre-season but its normally when we pick up season ending injuries, i'd rather we used the first 3 or 4 leagues games to get upto speed.

Personally if Long is being brought in to "run" the team then if he wants the KC for a day to practice then he should have it. He is one of the best players in recent time that will have played for us. Do you want his first game at the KC to be rubbish so you can jump on his back like Thorman cos some of his kicks go out on the full or are too deep and go dead?

No, I want him to use his ability to judge the ground, he'll get whatever time he requires, about 20 minutes before kick off should do it. He is a professional sportsman afterall.

We won 5 games at home and 5 away. Our home form was more a reflection of us being generally crap than anything else. But you go ahead and blame it all on not being able to practice that often at the KC if it makes you happy.

) Agar is planning away trips as preparation for the season.

You will have Celtic, Harlequins and Catalans away plus Gateshead at home.

Please not Huddersfield - it's taken us two years to recover from the injuries that we picked up the last time.
