In general I agree, but Leeds away made me snap completely. That said, in other games, he was made a scapegoat that didn't wash.
We did all see the poor kicking, passing and decision making though.
Overall I am inclined to think that the fundamental flaw in our attacking play was not Thorman, but no runners and disinterested players that simply cannto be bothered to make the effort. When they did make an effort, we look pretty useful, thorman or no.

Totally agree - he wasn't there to provide the go forward and guess may have tried too hard to seek options. But the Leeds game was without doubt for the poorest game in defence he could have played...

If gone - wish him all the best, from where I see it at least he tried this year which is more than can be said for some

Horne's had a poor season, but Thorman's embarrassed us on numerous occassions.

Equally you don't become champions by hounding out anyone who makes a mistake.

In the singular you are correct,but when the mistakes are repetitive I feel we have a right to be discontented.

Think thats a bit OTT. Whilst I dont agree with the booing he received,I can understand the fans frustration with him. His
game against Leeds was nothing short of horrendous,and to be honest I have never seen him do anything to make me change my mind.A lot of players at different clubs go through the mill with their fans.To say we destroyed his spirit is a bit dramatic.

At times this season Horne has been just as bad as Thorman IMO

Yes Thorman has been very poor but other players have been worse or just as bad as him yet he gets all of the flak

I agree on that but we know Horne can do it bit Thorman has always been $hite...apart from 1 good game at Bradford,i struggle to think what he actually contributed to us.....1 of the worst players to wear our shirt.

He is pretty mediocre to say the least but he has tried his best while he has been here. His best is just unfortunately way below the required level.

Agreed 100%, and on a one year contract he's hardly been "hounded" out. Horne has been no better.

The thing I find funny the most about Thorman is the fact we've played him out of position and expected him to be a star.

He's never played SH consistentley to warrant being given the No.7 shirt of a team. IMO we brought the whole Thorman thing on ourselfs because we haven't played to his strengths. Chris has always tried, ok he might not have being good enough but he has always tried and he has continued to do that through the thousands of abuse he has got.

We have a winner. A decent pack MAY just have given him a fighting chance. He isn't and has never been a world beater. Being signed on a 1 year deal would indicate the club didn't see him as a long term solution to our problems.

seems that way, and looks like it was a very good move,we would all certainly of had something to moan about if agar had signed him for any longer.
