With Hudds looking to cement their status as one of the best emerging teams, I expect a hammering on Friday.

They are playing very well at the moment and a victory does look unlikely but if we put the effort and variation into our game like we showed on Saturday then it could be an entertaining match.

I was talking to his cousin (Gavin) before Saturdays game and he told me Paul was on fire and was gonna give it everything. Apparently he was gonna target Vella (something he had heard, that Vella had said about him). Also he has been offered a really good deal to go to Wakey, but wants to stay at Hull!

For me Kingy is a great talent but he has wasted it. could have been GB prop for years, he has a great offload can scoot from half back, is aggressive, lots of natural ability but now is the time to say goodbye let him go and good luck to him for the future. Even today i believe the beer has got the better of him which is a shame.

He's struggled with his comittment to Hull, he won't last five minutes having to travel to another club. Once he's shown the door here his career will be effectively over.

When we got a roll on in that period in the second half he was the best forward on the pitch. Moa wasn't on the park at that point, though I agree he had a great game too. I can't believe folk on here saying that Corboda had a better game, he made a number of vital errors.

You mean you don't believe the rumour about Kear wanting him at Wakey?

He may well sign for Wakefield or another club for that matter but I bet he misses more training sessions than he attends.

I'd like to see him stay......If we can afford it? We need someone whoe actually loves the club in the dressing room when things are looking bad!

Whats he brought to the dressing room this season when things have looked bad? Or last season?

He brings very little to us both on and off the field imo other than actually been an FC fan, in which case why dont they sign one of us up as we have the same chances of playing as King does next season.

Agree 100%, removing Kings influence could only be positive for the younger players at the club.

Good post, what suprises me is people saying the players aren't good enough then wanting to resign King or Thackeray - both part of one of the two reasons we are where we are... a weak forward pack which makes poor yards.

If he gave it that every week and in training he wouldn't be in this situation.

Exactly. I'd add Dowes to that too. Dowes has been poor for 2 seasons, King has been poor for 5 seasons and Thacks has only ever had 1 good year. For some reason people want to resign/keep them however they are probably major reasons why we dont win the forward arm wrestle and have been mediocre for a couple of years.

Its time for him to go. He's not good enough consistently enough. I'm sick of hearing about him being a lifelong fan, black and white through and through etc etc. He is throwback to the 60s or 70s when it was ok to go out on the p*ss every night and turn up now and again for a couple of hours training and go through the motions knowing you would still get picked for sunday afternoon.
If we want this club to go forward we need a team made up of professional sportsmen with a professional attitude who take their training and their responsibilities seriously and have a pride in their own performance and committment, not a team made up of fans whose main priority in life seems to be drinking with other fans.
