The fact EVERYTHING is the coaches fault. Horne's never been very creative.

I never said anything about his creativity, his all round game is poor by his standards, which is probably attributed to his problems indicated above.

Maybe in yet another write off of a season we should give him a rest.

Horne doesn't have what it takes to be a top stand off or scrum half. Worth a shot at Full Back maybe if Tony goes, I have never being Horne's biggest fan he just doesn't bring enough to the role that he is required to do for me or when he does its never consistant enough.

Love him to prove me wrong but I very much doubt that.

I reckon it will be quite some time before a Hull player equals or betters his 'tries in consecutive games' record. Every back we have is appearing to be worse than they are because they are playing behind a consistently beaten pack. Horney was fantastic off Carvell's shoulder and good at attacking defences that are on the back foot. He's had pretty much no opportunity to do that this season.

my oopinion is that horne seems a yard of the pace this season...he doesnt make as many breaks as he used to etc etc, but time is ticking on his career, over 10 years at the top makes you wonder if his body has seen better days unfortunatly.....
lets be honest theres been times this season where he has been merely a passsenger at times, wether this was down to injury i dont know, but a serious neck injury and him taking to the field looking like a mummy at times doesnt bode well for the future of richard horne...

FFS. Horne has a run of bad games in a team where just about everyone is doing or has done the same, the season after recovering from a career-threatening neck injury and learning to cope with diabetes. And some of you want to write him off already?

Add that to the fact i think he has had one bad spell in over 10 years where he has been slated for his poor form.

We were touting him for Man of Steel at the start of the season.

He has been disappointing the last few games, admittedly. I'd love to see him back at FB, if only because he can actually take a ball on the full. Put Tony at 6.

horne should be at fullback and agar shouldnt give tony a new contract when his is up. with long, berro, lee and tansey we have enough cover in the halfs.

I've been to the vast majority of games this season and had to suffer Hall and now Tony at FB. I feel more like I'll be turning 50 this year than 40 as a consequence.

After all hes been through in the past 12 months, just a full season unscathed will do me to get his confidence back in just getting back out there. He'll come good again I have no doubt.

some just havent got a clue have they? the posts on here regarding Horne and embarassing, agree hes had a poor season, but with noone to feed of, whet the frek he going to do perform the odd miracle? not a clue have they?

We'll have another utility player there next season though! Tansey is a good player but not a specialist full back. The first high bomb he drops next year and we'll be back on here bemoaning the fact we have no specialist full back and he should be bench utility. It'll be tony all over again!

Horne has been poor for weeks, sometimes players have bad patches. Stick with him and he will come good again, if he is going to stay at his current weight then he needs to start defending much wider.

Release Motu and use his wages to bring in a creative SO that can actually pass the ball and move Horne to FB.
