They are professionals being paid to do a job, regardless of whether the supporters are behind them or not. The coaches should be putting belief into the players not the supporters.

i'd have said we'd give Celtic a game, but then i remember our players dont turn up for 'lesser' ties either

Everybody is entitled to an opinion and i dont disagree with anyone who says were playing terribly this season, however whats to say we don't turn it around and finish the season strongly?

They look beaten as soon as they walk out the tunnel, and with Agar publicly criticising his senior players, I can't see that altering. Players have no faith in their coach and coach has no faith in his players, I can't see it been turned around any time soon.

To be fair I think if we had a top coach things wouldn't improve greatly.

Too many of the squad are either finished, average or just out of there depth. The only way we will move forward is by a clearout of the playing staff.

To be honest we need change. If the cost of change is seven 50 point thrashings then so be it. Short term pain for long term gain.

I can agree with that, but what about the flip side and we win the majority of remaining games will that change peoples opinions on the current set up at Hull? And I further agree if results don't change for the better then a new coaching set up is required!

I agree a top coach could not turn us into world beaters, the squad is average and lacking in creative players.

BUT a better coach would be getting a few more wins, and if we were about 6th in the table, with the fans believing we could win a couple of play off games, I think we'd be happy with that after such a shocking 2008. Its the fact I woulden't put a bet on us beating anyone except Celtic in the playoffs that is the issue. And being out of the CC means we can't even look to a good cup run to cheer us up (again)

we have lost a lot of games by a few points this season, a better coach who was better at just one aspect of coaching (such as interchanges for example) would have got us some wins from those situations.

I thought it was about our scrum half's points tally for the season....maybe it is....projected forward

I've been a season ticket holder for over 25 years and have watched them through "any kind of weather" but in the last few weeks I have just about lost every ounce of optimisim and interest in this shambolic season.

I live in Lancashire and it saddens me to say I actually can not be bothered to drag myself to make the 250 mile round trip to watch them tomorrow night....the mad dash from work and the late night travelling back.....to watch the utter garbage being served up!

Dont feel bad I only live down the road and I cant be d to watch them either!
