| Quote ="A unknown superstar"If Millward was to be our coach. I only hope he is sucessful as he showed at Wigan that without all his superstars that he wasn't as good as people thought. Unless that's just because Wigan were utter poop at the time. Abit like us now. Don't get me wrong I'd be pleased with the signing of Millward just hope it really works out for him.
Apart from him, I'd look at signing Murray seeing as he's still out of a job.'"
thats the reason i woulden't want Millward he failed to re-build a Wigan side that are in a similar mess to us now (average squad heading nowhere) also I doubt the board would want him as he's a loose cannon who acts and says whatever he wants to.

| I'm not convinced Millward would be the answer. He failed miserably at Wigan.
I can't see Hasler being an option despite his obvious connection with the club.
Could Graham Murray be tempted out of retirement?
Other available options could be Kearney (who has no track record at club level but has the kind of personality to get the best out of players), Folkes (excellent record at Canterbury), and Michael Hagan.
We really need to get it right this time.

somebody did try and convince me that Swain becoming coach is a possibility, but personally I just don't see it, and i'm sure he said he wanted to get out of the game when he left.

As I've said before. Steve Folkes has nothing to do with rugby League anymore. He's concentrating in cricket.

| kemble, hasler, kearney, we really need to get the right top class coach to drag us back up as a top 4 club, another untried cheap coach would only see this debacle all over again!!
