kear is an average coach who can motivate a team of underdogs to the odd excellent performance.

I know he saved you from certain relegation in his first year with you but:

how many times have you finished in the play offs with him as coach
how many games had you won in the last 6 with him as coach
how is the player's discipline off the field?

The current situation is pretty much the same as when Brian Smith left. We put Noel Cleal in charge, no doubt on the cheap. He took us from so far backwards in a short space of time it was untrue, the damage wrecked the club for years. This is why Agar must go now, the longer he stays the longer it's going to take to repair the damage.

Time for the board to act, and act now

The team and players haven't improved 1 bit under his stewardship in over a season

He has so many faults as a coach i just don't understand how he is still in the job

10 defeats in 12 says it all tbh, and it could so easily have been 12 from 12 with 2 lucky wins against salford and castleford

We have no structure, no plan B,no defensive line speed,ptb too slow,players played out of postions,no aggression,no set moves etc

His man management his poor Craig Hall prime example the kid hung out to dry instead of working with him to get his confidence back he has just turned his back on the kid which is totally out of order

Im sick of hearing all the injury talk it doesn't wash with me, start of the season we heard everything has been looked at and no stone unturned in preparation for forthcoming season well he must be looking at different squad to me

Our fitness is poor maybe this has something to do with the injurys we keep getting

2010 is now a massive season for the club and we have to get things right starting with the backroom staff, if not fans will start voting with there feet as every seasson we start with massive expectation ytet seem to have yet another false dawn thrust upon us and met with Rules spin trying to pull the wool over our eyes

Hull Fc is a massive club with a massive fan base who many will support there club through thick and thin and many have seen a lot worse granted myself included, however the time has come for the club to get things right off the pitch and shell some money on a 1st class coach not the cheap option all the time

Speculate to acculamate, look at what Tony Smith has done at warrington with the same set of players that Lowes had attention to detail is everything something i don't beleive agar has

We deserve better and i for don't want to have another season like this next year so go get the best man for the job even if he's under contract get the money out and go deliver Brian Smith, Des Hasler,Tim Sheens coaches of that calibre all the teams at the top end of the table and winning trophys are coached by overseas coaches we need to go get the best simple

Agree mate and that is part of his problem he has no discipline over them,he knows how they are they should be dropped and play under 18's instead

Full time players shouldn't be missing training with headaches etc, running off for smoke breaks in between training sessions and drillsit's not a holiday camp ffs we need some proffenalasim at the club

Were these concerns evident when you were on the winning streak at the beginning of the season and also looking forward to the arrival of Crocker or is it just a reaction to the recent losses.

We are getting towards the business end of the season , and Hull do appear to be lacking.

It has been painfull for the last 2 seasons however I would put up with it for another year if the board took action to rid this club of player power which has been the downfall for us for far too long..

This seems to be every week now some one makes a mature and reflected post like this, however there are certain quarters on this forum who are hell bent on standing up for, the board, the coach and the players.
Ive made my bed on this issue on many occasions, only to be shot down by the authourities or their generals. We are as a club a laughing stock.
We as the fans are far more powerful than the board, if we dont attend or put the coffers into the pot they're up pooy creek with no paddle.
Next season does look brighter but so did this one this time last year and hopefully the club will invest just a little bit more cash and get a decent and respected coach.

The signing of a world class Aussie coach is the future...its like garlic bread. Look back at SL most successful clubs and I tend to think that the majority of these teams have had an Aussie coach at the helm. Also that goes hand in hand with a board that will part with cash to sign high calibre players.

A club with the fan base the size of Hull Fc should be competing with the top side's in super league not struggling against the middle and lower teams I mean no disrespect to any team here
But we would pull in 15000 plus crowds every game if we where performing like Rovers , Leeds , St Helen's .Some thing needs doing and right NOW not next year

We sacked Kear 6 months after he won us the challenge cup. We have endured worse league form since he's left and we've lost all our top players.

I may get called a bad fan and i may get some fans on here quoting 'any kind of weather' to me but if Agar and Sharp are still involved in my club i wont be going on Friday or for the remainder of the season. Thats me letting my feelings known.

Kear still wouldnt be the answer for me. We played poor rugby but fought well and won a cup. The cup hid the truth for me that he still wasnt very good.
