The figures are supplied to the clubs press officer at half time directly from the SMC who take a print out from the computerised turnstile system, and the corporate figures! They have to be done that way to comply with the Licensing agreement clauses on capacities! Nor is it in the clubs interest to count the total number of pass holders in because that gets them to the threshold for starting to pay the SMC more quickly! The agreement says 'The amount attending the game'

To claim that there was more there would mean that we would have to pay more money to the SMC!!

Good crowd although it seems Friday night games have decimated the away following as predicted. As for those pretending that there weren't that many get a grip.

Traditionally it's always been the opposite. The attendances released at the Boulevard were always significantly less than was actually there, same with Caravan park.

As previously stated, last year's game had an special offer on (was it adults for a tenner?). It was only beaten by the derby attendance last season.

15-20 minutes before kick off, i thought it was going to be the worst attendence since we played leigh at the kc in the SL, but i forgot these are hull fc fans, 6000 were all drinking around the concorse

Indeed...the amount of times people said the crowds at The Boulevard weren't as many/few as were announced yet I'd checked the bloody turnstiles myself!!!
