He WAS a pretty good player a few years ago, is pretty versatile in that he has played a lot of games at FB and IF he can find a bit of confidence then would be a good squad member.
Lets face it, no one can say he didn't have a mare of the biggest kind in the Leeds game but I'm sure he knows it a much as anyone, and to be honest you never looked much better when he went off, so could it maybe that as a HB he isn't getting enough protection, field position, runners etc and even the best HB in the world would have struggled to do anything about it.
I have no vested interest in Thorman playing better but I've seen it at our club when a player becomes the pantomime villain and no matter how much good stuff he does it will always have negative spin put on it.
I just get the feeling a lot of your fans would prefer Thorman to play badly just to say I told you so.....'"
I will agree with you there,but it was the manner in which Thorman was playing that rankled.Hell he looked like he couldn`t tackle a good dinner.It also looked like he was getting on Raynor`s wire too,as Raynor seemed to be giving him a right talking to under the sticks. |

I'd rather play Lee there for the rest of the season tbh. We all know how crap Thorman is, so why not give it to Lee to show what he can do there.

I am sure he will. Maybe he'll only gift Saints two tries tonight. My Grandpappy once said to me "Son you can't polish a turd".
I hope I'm proved wrong but I very much doubt it. |
