Id play Raynor Full Back and Hall on the left wing

What's wrong with Tony there?

Its less about Motu and more the fact that I think Raynor could offer us more than any other player at Full Back.

Add to that a few Wing spots for Hall where I think he's suited anyhow.

I appreciate that but I don't understand why Agar would hand him a two year deal if he's never going to see game time to such an extent that Broughton was signed again. Although CH is prone to the occasional error what he offers in attack is certainly worth that risk, especially considering the amount of games we've lost by a try or less this season where he really could have been the difference between a win and a loss.

Has Hall ever played S/O in the past?

It's decisions like this that bring Agar's ability into question. I know all the clichés about listening to the fans and ending up in the stands but he seems so lacking in imagination and flexability. Our current form is appauling and yet he changes nothing! As much as I was happy to see him given the job his inability to adapt to changing circumstances is begining to make me doubt he will be successful at Hull regardless of the players at his disposal. When we are still so short in the back line Hall should be playing. Jesus Christ, Thorman still is!!!

Hall has made a few mistakes and hasnt ran with the ball like he did last season and deserved to be dropped..

hes been poor this season, but i think Agar has dropped him for a bit too long and deserves another chance as hes not the only one that hasnt performed

Came off the bench as an impact player in the stand off role in a couple of games last season. One of those games was definitely Catalans at home.

It's a disgrace the way Hall's been treated in comparison with Thorman when the latter consistently lets us down. Time for Agar to fall on his sword. Hopefully one more poor performance from Thorman will force him to do this.

Yeah, but last year he was playing on the wing, generally, whereas this year he's mainly been a FB.

Can't say i'm that fussed about Hall, he looks barely any better than he did when he made his debut 2 years ago and still gives the same error strewn displays. He's no use if he can't defend and knocks on all game, Penny at Warrington has been loaned out for similar reasons.

If he was slowly improving than fair enough, but I personally don't see much difference between the Hall we saw in 2007 and the 2009 one.

Maybe a loan move for Hall will be on the agenda as he does not seem to feature in Agars first team plans at present.

He has plenty of potential but we all want the finished article , especially when things are not going so well.

Craig Hall just needs to be coached by someone who could take him to the next level, he has obvious talent but Agar is the wrong person to get hold of somebody as naturally gifted as Hall. Should of signed for Rovers and let Justin do his stuff

Winner. Exactly right Hall was very poor and his confidence was shot playing out of position - a decision taken for the good of the team. Maybe Agar has thought it better to let him regain confidence in the reserves for a few weeks. Should be given an opportunity again as and when a player who plays in his position is unavailable.

Agreed. 42 first team games under his belt and his defence is not up to SL standard IMO. How many SL teams would take him as a one of their first choice centres?

4 or 5 at a guess. As we're so blessed with attacking skill we can let him rot in the 21's
