Personally, I don't give a feck whether we have cheerleaders or not, but if the club thinks we should have them, they need to employ some professional dancers (like Leeds or London do) and not a bunch of teenagers who look like they've made a dance up in their bedroom. And they should also dress them in the same fecking thing.

As if you care? another thing to moan about. Our cheerleaders might not be the best dancers but they are young teenagers. Getting professional ones like london and leeds would be OK but who actually cares that much. These young lasses try hard and get to watch some rugby and feel apart of the team.

The lad is the best dancer IMO.

I firmly believe that if something's worth doing, it's worth doing well. Either get proper cheerleaders, or don't bother. We're talking a professional sports club here, not a high school team where a few of the girls make fools of themselves before the game.

i just dont agree with that.. its like the youngesters playing at half time.. do you belive we should get rid and have some open age rugby teams ? Its not meant to be like america, we are getting youth it the game.

It's not the same as having the kids playing at half time at all. The kids might go on to be future FC stars - the angels won't. And every club has an under 8s match at half time, but it does what it says on the tin.

That aside, it's supposed to be part of the pre-match entertainment and it ought to be professional. Otherwise, we might as well do without. They can't even be d to dress them all in the same gear, ffs. It looks ridiculous.

Sorry, but that is just rubbish. You can't compare youngsters playing RL with a bunch of teenagers dancing badly because the club is too cheap to employ professionals. The kids RL is worthwhile in and of itself, regardless of how entertaining it may be to watch; cheerleaders are only there to entertain the crowd, and they are failing to do that.

same uniforms is a good idea. but they need to accommodate girls as well as boys. They may want to be apart of the 'team' too. Its only a bit of fun for some young lasses.

they are not JUST there to entertain the crowd. young kids in nativity plays in schools do the same but they are not there just to entertain parents. They are there to be involved

i used to have a cousin in it, I had a couple of fried a few year ago. I just know they are there as youths. I know how it went on, they felt good at what they did. It went on there CVs. Kept them away from the boys

As I said before, we're supposed to be a professional sports club. We're not there to help adolescent girls 'get involved'. As you have rightly said, they can get a part in the school play if they want to 'get involved'.

What Hull FC need to do is dispense with the idea of cheerleaders altogether, or employ professional [iwomen[/i to do it.

The difference being that parents at a nativity play are not paying customers.

Plus the entertainment is generally of a higher standard TBH.

i know what goes into it, thats all. None are in it now and havn't been for a while. "everyone else", i bet you if we asked everyone at hulls games "would you rather have them or not" they would want them there.
