Yes - that's what I reckon too, but I don't know where to get the official rules. There are so many "versions" on the net and many could be interpreted different ways.
While you're answering questions like that. If a player deliberately grounds the ball in the field of play is that a voluntary tackle if he makes no effort to get up? Leading question. If he happens to be moving towards the try line when he does it and slides over the line (and makes no effort to get up) what then? Yeah I know.... TRY. But if you were coming out of your own tryline it would be grounded as soon as it touched the ground and, therefore, a drop-out. If it was outside your in-goal area, it would be a voluntary tackle or a surrender. So why is it a try? Now, where did leave my anorak?
