I was one of the people in the South Stand that clapped Salford after their last try, brcause they had worked bloody hard and deserved it. I appreciate a good performance where ever it comes from.

I also clapped Salford when they came to our end, they bloody deserved it. It would've been a miscarriage of justice if we'd won, they were by far the better and most passionate team, something we need to learn about.

And tell me why that is? I love Hull FC as much if not more than anyone on this board, but I always try to be fair. Salford played well today and after the start to the season they have had deserved a round of applause. End of.

Will you all be clapping Rovers when they stuff us on Friday? Total balls IMO. I can appreciate good rugby but I'm not going to be clapping and cheering the opposition when they've just knocked us out the challenge cup FFS!

No one is applauding them for knocking us out of the cup, they earnt there applause because an inferior team never gave up, hung in there, played the better rugby and fully deserved there victory

I clapped Salford because they deserved it.

TBH it was more out of fustration on our total lack of effort, passion and desire to win...all the things they showed.

If it'd been a tight game and we'd played well then I probably wouldn't have done it.

Not at all we where a shower of $hit and we didnt derserve to go through salford played the best out of the 2 be it not very well either which is worse in my book

I booooed our team and clapped salford and im a massive HULL FC fan Massive our team barring 2 players deserved nothing from us and if i see any of the players im sure i will tell them exactly what ive put on here aswel.

Youve hit the nail right on the head there Karen. Salford have had a really tough start to the season but have kept plugging away and deserved it today. It could be said we were the absolute reverse today.

I`m the type of fan who can accept a defeat if the players give 100%,
the type of fan who comes religiously to a game,only to feel cheated by what I am witnessing at the moment,the type of fan who is thinking where the hell is the captain on the pitch when you need him?,the type of fan who will STILL turn up to watch,because I can`t bloody well help myself.

i never clapped or cheered because they knocked us out the cup. FFS they deserved it, it wasnt great rugby by salford, but they never gave up, and no i will not be cheering and clapping for HKR next week, why would i? iv been an FC fan, for over 30 years, and a RL fan for the same length of time, i know a good team, the one i watched today was sh*t, Salford not much better, but they never gave up, credit to them
