Ref was terrible but it made no difference to me. We played poorly and deserved to lose.
He looked clueless at times, i got the feeling he wasn;t fully clued up on the rules at times as well.

I will say i reckon even if we had won this one there would have been a thread about the ref and how poor he was.

Can I just ask...where at ANY point in his post does he blame the ref for Hull's loss??



He was simply commenting on how poor the ref was...come on...he had to be told it was time for a handover by the bloody players, linesman and crowd lol!!!

ref was shocking, Hull were worse

no bitterness here, he didnt have a great game. made some poor decisions but in the end, the best team won so well done

spoke to thacks after the game and he said the ref was terrible but we were just sh*t and didn't deserve to win. To be honest got to agree with him was just a bad night at the office for us

as a wakey fan i came over to the game tonight, that ref didnt know the bloody rules. he walked forward with the defence then skipped back and that where he didnt know it was a turn over was just comical. he was just poor all way round, you missed your kicks cas got theres and thats it realy

Why didn't he do something about McGoldrick constantly gobbing off at him????? It actually went from annoying to embarassing he was doing it that much.
Am also surprised no-one's mentioned Tickle's conversion that hit the post. It went over and should have been given. We were right behind the sticks!

Look chill out you had the chance to go top tonight and the so called awesome Hull pack should of beaten Cas and the ref who is in his first season of SL so give him a break. It's not the ref's fault for dropping the ball in try scoring opportunity's.

It not just this ref all S/L ref are bad ..They must have the best job in the World They make errors after errors but they are not answerable to anybody People pay good money to watch the game of Rugby League And we should Expect better standard of refereeing ..If most people did their jobs and make mistakes like R/L ref make they would be Sacked

Yes every ref makes errors and get slagged for them but this ref was hopeless. I can forgive mistakes by refs because they are only human but a basic lack of knowledge of the rules is unforgivable.

I said when he was given the SL role that he was bad and tonight proved it. Laying on by both sides for the full game was allowed, and what the heck was he doing on that 5th tackle play, luckily the players told him to consult his touch judge who again, luckily knew the rules!!

there isn't any alternative though, Klein going home and Silverwoods suspension has only made it worse, there isn't loads of other refs waiting to take their jobs

my only gripe with the referee tonight was 2 blatant grapple tackles, arms around the neck, one after each other late in the second half, the first on yeaman, after bombing the try scoring pass to briscoe, halibert was stood right next to him and blatantly ignored this and the following grapple tackle on the next play when he awarded us a penalty for cas being offside instead

In my view this ref looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights, he's been thrown into the deep end far to early. Through circumstances more than anything it has to be said!

He hadn't got a clue that ref for both sides, i said to my mate at the time that is the worst refereeing display i have seen in a long time. Knock ons weren't given when they should have been (for both sides) players were offside (again for both sides) and holding down (both sides) was very rarely penalized and i would be delighted never to have him again because it's all well and good winning but at times tonight some of the decisions were unbelievable

Oh and has anyone got a picture of the scoreboard at FT tonight to replace the Wigan one in my sig

no too sure about offsides, he seemed to take both teams back more than 10 metres each time

But in 30 years of following Hull fc and watching and playing in many amatuer games as well got to say he is the worst i have EVERseen and he shouldn't be allowed another game imo, it's a multi million pound indusrty and Stuart Cumming puts a bufoon in charge of athletes im just glad no one suffered a serious injury with that clown in charge
