Lets face it, local radio is poor, KCFM and RH are both very amateurish.

I like the opinions and commentaries of Lee Ritchie and the Doc. However I can't stand bear listening to those that have never ever pulled on a pair of boots, and DDD.

On phone ins why do they ask peoples opinions then butt in and yet again give their own if people dont agree with them. Maybe they think if they say the same useless drivel over and over again we'll all believe it.

At least on Sky I can mute the tv once I see Stevo`s lips move.

I might do something i`ve never done before and listen to the radio commentary while i watch the game and see if they are actually watching the games.

Keep up the sanity and great work Ritchie and Doc....can you mute the others once their lips move?

your almost totally spot on, apart from the bit about him attempting to court controversy as is the current trend etc., speaking as someone who has had the dubious pleasure of meeting him, he is just naturally an ignorant, argumentative little gobsh--!

As previous posters have stated both him and DDD are a total dead loss as radio commentators, as the listener, you have no idea what is going on most of the time.

Having tried listening to both I'd have to edge towards RH just for Doc's and Richo's coverage - especially when Rovers are playing at the same time because then I know Gollum will be w@nking over the Rovers game so the commentary for our game won't have his constant verbal diahorrea spoiling it.

KCFM for me is just too biased, I like to have the facts of what's actually happening rather than what's perceived through tinted specs.

I remember the derby at the KC last year, the KCFM commentary was shockingly biased. DDD and GML could clearly not commentate on the game itself without showing their constant bias and at that point I decided to go back to Humberside. I just wish the Doc could do all the commentary.

When I listen to Rovers I have to listen to Humberside as I can't stand to hear KCFM screaming for KR !!!

I heard Blunderside are looking to bring in Alexander Burgess to replace GL as assistant sports editior. Although AB is mainly a soccer fan Iam sure he knows more about RL and Ice Hockey than GL. I for one would support this move. Whats your thoughts??
