Had to leg it back for the last train thanks to Big Ben's video referee fetish. All I'll say on the refereeing is that match, between the same 2 teams with the same referee, was officiated entirely differently to the league game at their place. That night it was to our advantage because Donkey Kong's ""details"" were penalised, tonight they weren't. We've done brilliantly to win despite that.

I thought Manu was magnificent, start of the second half he was screw turner in chief. Ellis and Mini, defensively, massive.

First time this season our sliding defence and tackling out wide was on point, it's been a weak point (particularly wide right) but it was spot on tonight. Seen some negative comments about Carlos, I thought he was excellent.

Wonderful night. Tremendous support. RFL need to ask whether Friday night on Doncaster with 1 end of the stadium empty is really showing the sport off at its best but we did our bit, brilliant atmosphere.

Head was down and knees were knocking at half time. What a second half and give Wigan there dues, they didn't give up what a last ten minutes. Got to win at Wembley this time surely

Congrats to players and staff. Pleased for Radders and AP who have turned this club around and not wavered when the was being thrown. I said at half time if we stayed in the contest we could do it and that's what we did. Immense.

Jesus, my ticker's still racing. A mammoth game but we really did it tough - Wigans defence was excellent or that scoreline would have been a lot wider. Three tries disallowed - two of which would probably have stood without video ref. Some really spoiling tactics from Wigan including lying on and a constant barrage from O'Headshot and Tomkins in Thaler's ear.

And whichever losers had the Radford Out banner at the games; I hope that photo of you all is circulated when we lift that cup.

Just got back, 260 miles is bloody hard work plonked either side of that, well worth it though, the atmosphere was epic.

I park a bit further in (for free) and walk about 20 minutes to the stadium. We did the tube for the first CC final when it re-opened and found we saved 30 minutes parking closer and walking by comparison especially coming back.
it's only a 40 minute drive for me so at least one game of the year I don't have a long slog.

Four weeks today we will be getting ready for the trip down to Wembley. I'm desparately hoping this is our year.

What we have to remember is last time we got to Wembley, we put in a similar big man performance against Warrington, I remember being frequently camped on our line just taking tackle after tackle. Same score that day, just shows we have always been good in that aspect of the game just developed the attack this year as well.

Wow still can't believe it what a blooming war that was everyone a hero, everyone a star, when the hooter went I thought I was about to expire everyone, on the terraces was going through every tackle and when the hooter went I thought I would wake up at home in bed! Couldn't sleep and how we will get up for next week heaven knows but for now who cares!!!

Managed to snag some comp tickets off a mate, arrived at the ground and we were directed to the East stand reception. We were then directed upstairs and told you have use of that room, with a random point to a door down a coridoor. Fair enough, trotted into the room and realised it was the Directors lounge. Everyone else suited and booted, me and Digger in jeans & FC shirts. All the BBC commentary team there, plus many RL legends and Directors and families from both teams. Cue best behaviour. Had a good natter with Mal Reilly, Motu Tony, Lee Crooks, etc.

Great fun in the Directors Box stood up all game chanting. An unforgettable evening.
