Punish Tansey for what?

There have been issues with him during the season and he has been disciplined for that. Not heard anything recently.

Just going by the rumours on the other thread (not sure which one) that he missed training last week.

Personally for a game as big as this I would fine him his wages.

Ive been saying that about Hall all year. Sadly Hall wont be here next season and could well come back to bite us which i said at the time we announced him leaving.

wish Agar would change his mind about Craig Hall ,really think this could come back and hurt us big time

Hall has had a decent show the couple of games but lets not have our judgement clouded here. One swallow doesn't make the summer and all that (it does however make your weak end !!!).

I take peoples point that we shouldn't judge Hall on a couple of good performances (or bad for that matter). The point here to discuss though is, is does he have more to offer than others we do have signed up for next season. Mentioning no names but they both have the same initials.

I would be stunned if Rovers selected him ahead of Welham or Webster. The only thing that is good for him if he signed for Rovers is that Webster is made a of paper mache, which could give him more opportunities to play at centre.

Craig looked a bit emotional at the end on Saturday.
He was the first player over to the fans. Good luck to him. Shame it never worked out for him at Hull FC.

agree with all that,we must remember hes been at the club quite a few years now and i know he loved it at fc,you couldnt meet a nicer kid,maybe it will be better for craig and his family that he has a fresh start,he will prob come back and bite us in the ar-se,just my opinion of course.

he's the only player to have left FC in recent times that I think has the potential to be a cause of regret, none of the others have gone on to better things.

Carvell?

Think he was meaning more those who left by the club's choice, not their own. We can surely have no regrets with Carvell, we seemed to do everything we could to keep him.

On the whole Craig Hall, although showing a few flashes of brilliance in attack, does not cut the mustard as a SL player. His defence is as consistently poor as any SL player I’ve seen over the past few years. He is also a confidence player and his head goes after one mistake. He has shown no improvement in this mental strength in getting over this issue. For me every time he carries the ball he looks like he could lose it. I think he is a liability and I cringe when he is announced in our team. He has recently had a few ok games but nothing special at all. In fact in attack he was ineffective last week and that is what everyone tells me he is so good at. I hope it works out for him elsewhere but I suspect he will find his feet at the lower grades rather than SL. Anyone willing to offer him a contract based on his past performances over the years is crazy in my opinion.

So you would rather have Turner in next years squad than Hall? Agar's conservatism seems to be spreading over our fans!

Exactly (while Hull have been knocked out at the earliest opportunity int he last 2 years), he might also become a Grand Final winner at the end of the season.

He has missed out on the Carnegie nines and the fair play award though hasn't he !!!

Finally someone with common sense! Hall is never a SL player. Most games the kit man doesnt even have to wash his kit cos he is that clean! scored points but given many, too many away. He will not play for KR with welham in the team. Not because he is better, but that they both are very suspect defensively

I personally would. Turner can cover wing, centre, 13, back-row, 6, 7 and potentailly 9.
Hall can cover full back, wing, centre and at a push 6.

Hall's had ample oppurtunity to make it and he hasn't.

I would without a shadow of doubt.......
