LMS has on loan for a year with the academy, along with a couple of others. No idea why, maybe a link up and if we could have signed him, we did sign the winger, Adabsi or something like that, but he didn't make the grade.

He was in the Hull side that won the Academy Grand Final in 2005.

I think it was only a one-year loan from Harlequins, there was him, Ade Adebisi and Mike Worrincey.

Adebisi by the way is involved with the Nigerian RL and has worked with Hull recently with the development partnership.

That's the story, had first pick and choose Wynne, not sure how accurate it is, but no doubt a massive, massive error if true..

Although not convinced he would have developed as well under Radford.

Shows two things,

injuries play a massive part of the season, lose a couple of key players for any team and you struggle, only team who hasn't is Rovers.

The standard of the league isn't great and a few decent signings and you can really close the gap.

And the difference a quality marquee signing makes to a team. Take french out and they look like a completely different side . I really liked Keighran at Catalan last year, but his discipline at Wigan is awful

That was bad, but this one much worse, Brown wouldn't have caught a centre, but he should have tried I agree, but Martin could have been caught he was right next to him and is a backrower.

wigan were bound to lose a few games when teams strangle them and play well as you did and leeds have done today, only missing french really today st helens are the ones that have suffered this year for a change,

I think they are still trying to come to terms with the traumatic experience of being beaten three weeks ago by a perpetually losing side who sit in eleventh!!




How ironic will it be if our only highlight of this wretched season ends up going someway towards you-know-who breaking their 39 year trophy drought





Having said all that, I still think Wigan will recover their mojo for when it really matters, as usual, and the after match interviews/analysis at Old Trafford will have the familiar and long established pattern to them.

Another good game so far in the NRL involving the Dolphins.

Worth watching just for the Hammer tackle on Carr.
