i was under the impression that all had been agreed regrds personel terms etc and a deal was set to be done, but wasnt wakey not very happy regards the players we was offering in exchange  |

cant see either of Bowen or Stewart wanting to come over at this stage of their career. Isnt Stewart sweating on some charges? if so id also doubt his request for a visa. Hows about an approach for minnichelo. Reckon we could tempt him.

| My god this thread gets worse at times
Stewart is pretty much regarded as the 2nd best fullback in the world behind Slater and also under a sexual assualt charge. I don't think he would want to come and at this stage of his career, to describe his signing as good is wrong, it would be sensational, but it won't happen.
Hunt could happen as he seems destined to leave the NRL but I would reckon RU is a more likely destination. Again his signing would be sensational.
Matty Bown would not be as bigger signing imo but would still be a very good one.
My bet is none of these three will be coming to Hull, hope I am wrong though. |

I know we went after Atkins last year and we where close to signing him, perssonally not bothered my him. dont think he is much better than we already have.
Not shown his early potential that he showed in his first season at Wakey.

We've got Jordan Tansey to play there. Anyone who watched the Roosters on Setanta the other week will know what I'm talking about.
He looked a real class act. Big, fast & safe.
Trust me, he will shock a lot of people next season............if he plays at full back..............and doesn't get left to rot on the bench.
