I agree, I think we're capable of causing a few upsets in the play offs too.

I've seen some good displays (as well as poor ones) by hull this season. We played well at Wigan and narrowly lost when Tickle uncharacteristically missed a last minute kickable opportunity to level the scores. We drew with Saints following a questionable last minute penalty by Washbrook, comprehensively beat Warrington at Warrington, thrashed Castleford at Castleford, gave Catalan a thumping at the KC and beaten Rovers. The only two teams out of the possible top eight we haven't given a game this season are Leeds and Huddersfield and with a bit of form behind us it's going to be an interesting play offs. We could also go out first round, I think we have a side capable of beating any of the top eight on their day. There, I've stuck my neck out and been positive, apologies to anyone who this may offend and am sure it will get shot down very soon.

He has an unbelievable ability to pull a 'rabbit out the hat' when the pressure hots up!

Before easter we were losing to Quins away with only minutes to go and it seemed like the end for Agar...we then miraculously won the game, and went on a run over Easter.

then the form dipped again...I turned up for the Catalan home game expecting defeat and a load of Boos and Agar Out chants...the team then decided to play some attacking rugby for once!

so maybe the answer is we keep up the pressure on him each week!

Surely not.

It really worries me that this might be the case. You only have to look at the way some opinions have swung on here over the last month, despite the fact that we lost 4 from 5 in July. If we manage to beat Wire and/or win a play off game, I reckon there's a good chance he'll remain in post and we'll have the same inconsistent form and underachievement to endure next season.

In that case, I'm going to hope that the voices in his head belong to Adam Pearson and James Rule.

But that's what been a fan is all about, it shouldn't affect the boards decision though.

Two things have recently convinced me that Agar is gone.

1. Him telling two fans on here that O'Caroll was signed and Lynch was nearly signed after the Cas game. I don't believe he would have let that be known in public if he was staying.

2. No comment from him on the O'Carroll signing statement I havent looked back at the news pages but I would bet that every new signing announcement under his tenure has included a quote from Agar.
