id say the two from the roosters are top top signings for ANY team...let alone a team that has been pathetic for two years running....to have 3 former kangaroos in your starting pack( fitz,shrek,berro) says alot to me that it really is shiit or bust this year...if the team fails, then agar definatly deserves the boot...no excuses this time....

Fitzgibbon is your biggest and best signing of 2010 by a country mile. His level of performance and consistancy in the hardest comp in the world over such a long period of time has got to be respected.
My only concern would be that because he isnt a ball playing or tackle busting forward, his contribution may be underestimated by some.
Would have him in the Rovers squad tomorrow.

i cant wait to see them all to be honest, im very optimistic about 2010, even more then 2009 ha ha ha. roll on next season.

well ive just finished longys book and it says in there that he doesnt like been a captain so thats settled for me, fitzy capain, washy and radders vice captains for me.

Fitzgibbon....the bloke is a leader and a winner with a hugh well earned and respected reputation....will be a privelage to see him in a Hull Shirt.

i think we will see the best of Berrigan playing with a bigger and better pack .He is a class act and hiopefully will have a injury free season

I have a feeling that Tansey will be injured a few times this season. I don't know why. Seems to be a bit of a cursed role in recent years! We got a few good years out of Briscoe until he started getting injured, but add to that Motu, Prescott, Byrne, plus Tansey has already picked up a few knocks already in the few games he's played for us.

If Long can stay on the park, it has to be him. Adam Dykes was a great player for us when on the pitch. It's just that he never was on it. I'm hoping long can have at least that sort of impact over a longer period of playing.

Fitz will hopefully be another Kearney minus the 10th minute sending off!

O'Meley will hopefully have the impact we wanted from Crocker.

Turner isn't the finished article, so can't expect much from him. If he wants the LF position, there's a bit of competition from other young English players that have been here longer!

Lauaki and Moa (mixed with Manu) are guaranteed to do the biz in the pack. I really think our forwards will be the best I've ever seen at the club this year. The backs, however, will be the problem. We are the equivalent of England in the 4N!

We have the makings of a good team but we need a leader on the field,a man who the team rally behind when things are going wrong.I know Radford was the captain last year but i don't think he was a natural leader.Think Fitzgibbon would fit this role perfectly.

Long and Fitzgibbon, Long is what we have needed for 15 years and Fitz to bring some Kearney style profesionalism to the players.

Completely agree, think he will be the best signing although longer term it could be Tansey.

I'll reserve judgment until i've seen them play. Any one of the new signings could be brilliant and take us to the next level, but equally if there's no improvement in alleged off field activities etc we won't have a "best" signing

Best signing for me is Long because of his organisation and creative play, This will help us dominate and win games. Fiz...do do do the funky..Gibbon should be the captain simply because of his experience and work ethic. That said, this is a team game so if Agar and Moore do their job then all 17 players on the day should be revelations. Cooooooome ooooooonnnnn yooooooouuu Huuuuuuuullllllllaaaaaaa.

One thing is most definately for sure, we will not be bullied on the park this coming season....

When the Tongan Mafia and the henchmen take to the field I would like to hear the Black n White Faithful break out into song....The Troggs "WILD THING" but make it plural.

I think we might be young in the backs but I think we're fine: Yeaman, Hall and Briscoe would find a place in many SL clubs and we have two very good wingers. We also have Turner and other youngsters a-plenty waiting to come through. I'm pretty happy with the whole team structure.

Long for me,if he can keep clear of injuries.
