Thought Rovers played well. Played expansive rugby topped off with that quality try.

Again our game plan was to take them on up the middle then predictably a Sneyd kick to the corner.
When we did give the ball some air we looked good and scored a couple of decent tries ourselves.

Thankfully our extra quality told towards the end and very pleased with the win.

Confused as I never implied we where. Got what I expected from tonight (if your sad enough you can check my post during the week). Rovers threw the ball from left to right to make ground and did it very well. That is not attacking Rugby though at its finest any team could do that. Very little in line breaks.

I was happy we was patient and took our opportunities when we got presented them. Not too bad after a short turn around.

I could sit and play childish jibes all day if I wanted but I don't.
Rovers played well and we played average, yet still won. However if you think scoring 16 points in a game shows your a good attacking side then you can't really have high standards.

Did anybody notice in the last 5 minutes or so the scoreboard said 28-16? It changed just before the set where Sneyd kicked the drop goal (at least that's when i noticed it). I wonder if he looked up and saw we were 12 points in front so went to take it to 3 scores ahead, when in reality we were only 8 points in front. So either way Rovers still had to score twice (or a score and a penalty to tie).

Just got in from a good slurp, Rovers were magnificent in defeat, arguably the better side, if not for the power of Griff in the centre, and Ligi and Sav again, this result could have been a whole lot different, we have to raise our game against Saints, brought down to earth after Leeds. I won’t comment on Hicks I’ve been banned before.

I thought we were too conservative up until last 20
Fonua was the game breaker
They never got a look in after he came on

Trying to win by playing 5 drives and a kick with the occasional simplistic inside runner wont work against quality opposition
We didn’t dominate the Rovers pack so we have to play expansive as well as Forward based.

I love Fonua, but his cameo appearance was not game breaking by any stretch of the imagination
