OK Chief, hope we're friends again.


I understand the frustration. I just don't feel it personally, pretty immune to having expectations raised and not met whilst Agar was here so just go with the flow now, enjoy it and have a really nice time. We have a finite amount of energy, mine won't be spent on Radford bashing as he's here indefinitely anyway and there are worse things in life.As you say we'll be back at it for 2020 shortly - looking forward to the pre season hype and shirt launch already (Best kit ever vs looks cheap and they won't be getting my money).

Had the weekend to digest yet another abysmal effort. The players looks jaded / unfit or dis interested.
I have supported the team for over 40 yrs and will likely renew my pass again for next season.
None of us know what is going on at the club behind the scenes. Clearly though we do not want another repeat of this dross next season.

In response to some posters querying they have seen much worse.
Yes there have been far worse seasons but expectations have increased due to the quality of players that we now have at the club. The best and most consistent clubs have leaders with a good rugby brain in the pivot positions. Unfortunately that is one thing we are still missing.
The team as a whole have Plenty of Brawn but no Brains.

If Radford is staying he certainly needs help with our attack, and especially our defence. Shaun Wane seems to be open to offers,why don't they get him in to help.We certainly need something different,we are sick of the same headless chicken syndrome which we are seeing every game at home.Fans are leaving the ground early at every game because they know what to expect when we go behind.When i read Radfords view on the game i always think i must have been at a different game.The frightening thing is that nothing is going to change in the future and nobody seems willing or able to change it. All the people around me at the ground are as sick as i am and this must be having a detrimental effect on sales and tickets.What we play like now sells season tickets for next year so things have got to change

Radford has been very lucky to keep his job and thats only due to the support of Adam Pearson.
I still maintain an out of town coach or overseas coach with Radfords record since the C/C victories would have been replaced months ago.
I just hope the professionalism and workrate of the new guys coming in starts to rub off on other players at the club.
At the moment the club is too cosy.
I dont think we will make the playoffs but Radford knows he already has his lifeline for next season.

Exactly, I'd rather turn over £1000 and get a £100 profit than turn over £10k and make a profit of £20.

The big 4 have multimillionaire backers. We on the other hand have to be self funding.

That's the point. We have to turn a profit as we don't have a benefactor to bankroll losses.

Eh? The Big 4 have had a stranglehold on GFs, I think we can agree on that.
You then brought profit into it, as if Wigan making a loss was relevant. They can afford losses because they have a rich backer to underwrite trading performance. We are disadvantaged because a) we don't have the size of the big clubs (turnover, assets, employees) and b) we have no rich backer so have to manage our P&L more carefully. None of which changes the fact that the Big 4 have been dominant. Now, we may well get a Cas v Salford GF this year, but I would be surprised.

Perhaps, but it also a game which celebrates the Steve Prescott charity, and a chance to say farewell to two retiring ambassadors for our club, Mini & Sika so instrumental in those two Cup victories at Wembley. We may be in a sort of transition at present, but those memories will never be forgotten. And hopefully all true Hull supporters will be there, at the end to show their appreciation for their last appearance at home, and possibly retirement.

Cas playing their game on Thursday so our fate will be known before we kick a ball .
