After listening to Neil Hudgell’s comments regarding the manner in which Hull scored their last three tries, I decided to watch the game again and came up with the following observations:

Whiting try – legitimate 40/20 and fair try: 6-0 Hull
Eden try – Hall 2 metres off side prior to interception, thus penalty to Hull and no try: Scores stay the same: 6-0 Hull
Hall try – Forward pass in the play before Dobson’s kick (called by commentators), scrum to Hull: 6-0 Hull
Dobson pen – Fair tackle from O Meley so no penalty: Still 6-0 to Hull
Brown try – pass to winger a yard forward, scrum to Hull: Hull Fc 6-0 Hull KR
Lineham try – knock on by McDonnell just before Green break down the middle, scrum to Hull KR: Still 6-0 to FC
Yeaman try – 50/50 call so Ill disallow this one as under the circumstances it only seems fair! Hull still lead 6-0
Green try – The rest is history as they say…..

So after all the discussion, debate, laughing, crying, whinging and gloating if you remove all the technically incorrect decisions that led to scoring plays during the game, Hull still win by a 6 point margin. I wonder if Mr Hudgell would like to discuss the decisions that favoured his team as he appears so keen to offer his opinion on referee standards? He may also wish to contact Radio Humberside regarding his team’s inability to defend a 10 point lead with 8 minutes to go, just as he did last year regarding Hull’s inability to defend a 14 point lead with 12 minutes to go?

Rod Studd on backchat was suggesting Hull should've let Rovers score a try to draw the game when everyone, including the players realised what a balls up Ganson had made. Something akin to what has been seen in football on occasions. He also suggested that Hull should offer to replay the game and the gate receipts go to charity!! Stevo suggested it should be the RFL that suggest the game be replayed and not the club!!

Thankfully there was a sensible geezer (from the Guardian I think) on the programme that said that is an utterly ridiculous suggestion and we cant be replaying games due to poor officialdom.

The season would last 3 years for a start. On a plus though , if all the proceeds of the replays went to cancer charity, after 3 years we would have a cure!

Oh the irony!

Why should we play the game again the score was 22 - 16 Hull didn't say it was a try ,If that the case Wigan and Leeds should play there game again .Nobody said that the Hull v Rovers game last year should have played again The saying is life is a pig
