As I said the other day mate,when people were saying chase wasn't happening, I believed he is still coming as I believe the information passed onto me and if he doesn't I would leave the forum as my information can't be correct. I'll say the same for the rest as well.
Believe me I am far from 'in the know' as I know no one connected to the club, the information I put on here is passed on from my best friend, all I know who he is friends with and that this is where he gets his information from.

correct ,i spoke to him today he was in village hotel with his wife,and some other players,said if its just the joint he will have injection and play on,but not sure if its his scaphoid (spelling) if it is he will need a op,his thumb was strapped up and was in a sling.

I recon the Chase deal will be announced after the Cas game.

McRae said on Airlie Night, that they have extended the deadline another week to try and sort out the contract with Cas.

Was told not to expect many signing announcements this week,possibly only crookes and maybe holdsworth. Chase possibly this week so its known before the game on saturday and he can say his hellos and goodbyes at the game.

Makes sense, I thought they'd drag the announcments out for a few weeks to help with the pass sales...

Don't understand this drip feeding of signings to help with pass sales. If they are of the quality mentioned get them announced all at once and the sales will take care of themselves.

Wouldn't expect players to be announced until their current clubs seasons commitments are finished. Crookes is out of contract,salford can't make the playoffs and chase is already common knowledge we're after him.

Not just for the pass sales mate,it more to do with courtesy to other clubs who could be involved in the playoffs, so the players won't be distracted etc. As you say pass sales this year should be well over 10k

Passes go on sale tomorrow so I think they should make at least one announcement to kick start a good first week of pass sales.

What about Taylor then? When will he be getting announced?

Although announcing them all at once would be fun, I don't think it works from a media POV. Each player will have their own news day were we read interviews on the website etc.

hdm would also have to give more than a page to us! (unlike city who get 8 pages for a 0-0 game)

I agree and think that is how it should be done... 2 or 3 a week for a few weeks. It will give us things to talk about for a few days per signing.

Seems good to space them out and give all the new signings some time in the limelight, if they all were released at the same time some players would simply be overshadowed with the Chase, Holdsworth, Watts
